There is no reason to change your auditor to work with us. In fact, your auditor will appreciate our efforts because we will provide them with accounting records that are audit-ready to minimize disruption in their audit process. For some clients, we become their fractional or part-time CFO or Controller. Most boards experience a high degree of turnover and often have members with minimal accounting or oversight experience, creating an environment that is susceptible to poor accounting, avoidable errors, or even fraud. One of the worst things that can happen to a nonprofit is when the public loses confidence in the ability of the organization to protect its assets and to direct those assets to the charitable cause.
