Education

Jan earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.

Experience

Jan has over twenty-five years of experience in public accounting, and has been with Dowell Group for twenty years.  Prior to that, she served as controller for a publicly-held medical equipment leasing company. Jan earned her partnership in 2013.

  • Business valuation analysis

Jan is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of CPA’s.


Her community volunteer associations include:

  • Member of Audit and Finance Committee, WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger)
  • Member of Accounting Advisory Committee, Harper College

Jan is married with two adult children and three dogs.  She enjoys gardening and reading.
